Onboarding Flow - Case Study
One notable project involved revamping the onboarding flow to address user concerns, particularly accidental award rejections that led to a surge in customer service inquiries.
By implementing a comprehensive redesign, we successfully reduced such calls by 19%, enhancing user satisfaction and streamlining the onboarding experience. This achievement underscored our team's commitment to solving real-world challenges and optimizing user interactions.
Kansas / Oklahoma / Ohio ESA Marketplaces
I led the research, design, and development of the ESA Marketplace for Ohio. Through thorough market analysis and user-centric design, we delivered a user-friendly platform empowering families to make informed education savings decisions. Working closely with state officials and stakeholders, we launched a robust solution, enhancing access to educational opportunities statewide.
This project was a first for the company, so it was a very collaborative effort across all teams in the company to make sure everything went smoothly. As of now the marketplace has been refined based on user feedback, and is in production across 3 states.
What is Merit?
Collaborating with the team, I played a key role in storyboarding and animating videos for Merit. We brainstormed ideas, crafted compelling narratives, and translated them into engaging visuals to effectively communicate the brand's message. Through iterative feedback loops and seamless coordination, we produced high-quality animated content that resonated with audiences and strengthened Merit's brand presence across various platforms.

Benchmarks Tool - Case Study
The most fun I had at Applied Systems involved collaborating with the VP of Product to conceptualize and develop an interactive benchmarks tool. This tool allowed users to compare their quoted premiums against industry standards. From initial research to design and prototyping, I was involved in every stage of the process. Building a fully functional prototype that engineers used to create the final tool was particularly rewarding. This project encapsulated my passion for innovation and hands-on problem-solving in the realm of UX design.
Analytics Benchmarks Annoucement Animation
Additionally, I incorporated fun animations throughout the dashboard interface, adding an element of delight and engagement to the user experience. These animations not only captured users' attention but also enhanced usability by guiding them through the interface in an intuitive and enjoyable manner.

One of the standout projects during my tenure at Applied Systems was the Data Insights dashboards. I created an interactive tool for comparing industry growth trends year over year. It features a user-friendly interface with dynamic charts for easy visualization of data across different industries and years. Customizable dashboards and drill-down capabilities enhance engagement and provide detailed insights, making complex data accessible and actionable.

I took ownership of all analytics dashboards, leveraging user feedback to continually optimize their effectiveness in aiding users. Collaborating closely with Nathan, we designed the Glidr Teams product, tailored for established teams poised to centralize their product knowledge and workflows within the Glidr platform. Our partnership involved understanding the unique needs of these teams and crafting intuitive features and workflows that seamlessly integrated with their existing processes. Through iterative design cycles and user feedback, we refined Glidr Teams into a robust solution that empowered teams to harness the full potential of their product knowledge and drive successful outcomes.
Glidr Motion/Animation
At Glidr, I took charge of all animation, motion, and micro interactions, infusing our product with dynamic and engaging experiences. From concept to execution, I meticulously crafted animations to guide users seamlessly through our platform. My role was instrumental in enhancing the overall user experience and setting Glidr apart in the competitive realm of product management software.
Glidr Prototype
I spearheaded the creation of a fully functioning prototype of the Glidr app using Framer. This powerful tool allowed us to bring our vision to life with interactive elements and realistic animations. We strategically utilized this prototype at trade shows to gather valuable insights into the product, enabling us to gauge user reactions and gather feedback in real-time. The prototype served as a dynamic showcase of Glidr's capabilities, helping us refine our product strategy and enhance user engagement.

I took full ownership of development, updates, and maintenance for Glidr.io, ensuring its continued functionality and relevance in the ever-evolving tech landscape. This encompassed everything from implementing new features to addressing bugs and optimizing performance.
